Yes, I agree. You have to tender to where you are located before deciding on the colony size hoped for. However, they can't relocate these birds at this point, later yes something can be done. It will be interesting to see Audubon's input as these birds are protected because they are migratory.

Two adult males arrived on the 22nd in Covington La. Today, one already

My house is on 15 ft pole. So far no problem in So. LA with strong winds but I use support ropes from two direction.

First arrivals Feb 8 two adult males. Has been chilly here for a couple days. I think they retreated for a couple days and now I see one. At first both had females to ck out the place but I haven't
seen them anymore. Just the one male. The new season is on.
