Purple Martin Equipment For Sale
Hello Friends With much regret and sorrow I type this message from a hospitol bed having all day to think about it. I have been forced into situations that are out of my control. I can no longer have my Martin Colony. While I hope to re-establish a colony later in the futue in a different locaion, I...

Luv Ya Purple, Sorry for the very late reply. I have been dealing with a computer Trojan/Virus that wiped my computer out. To answer your question, you would do it exactly the same. It is irrelevant where the entrances are. The entrance tunnels could not be added to the original holes because you wo...

RC, I personally like the ACE that you and Bob worked on and believe it's is worthy of consideration. Not only is it attractive, it seemed to work very well once the Martin's learned it and believe the Starling's would have had a tough time getting through it. At any rate, your time and effort's are...

Scott that didn't take you long to fix the problem! I know if they are feeding under the racks that I've probably had a breach. Dead give away here. So did you Son ask for a new window or was it just the perfect location for a shooting blind???? HA!! Peggy Peggy, He did indeed ask for it however, u...

As far as the size of these Starling's, do they look any smaller than what is considered normal? I don't have many Starling's around here however, the few we have look huge, when they are near a entrance............right before the .22 bullet takes them out. Well................leave it to a ...

On the bright side................. you have a chance to see what entrance, if any, ends up stopping these Darn Starling's! Might as well try the Dually, Ace, Original Excluder entrances, if you can get some. The Clinger is easily navigated by the Martins and should be of No concern. As far as the s...

I had a thought the other day about putting a hump on the porch, a small distance from the front of the entrance and as wide as the entrance. Martin's can navigate just about anything and squat all the way to their bellies and get in. They would have to squat and navigate the hump to get in the entr...

Mike, I would raise the porch flush as recommended. I would then make these Wing Entrapment Guards flush with the top of the entrance to deny the use of leverage on the tunnel. I will be making a instruction post as soon as I get the time on how to make these guards. Martin's can easily get through ...

sounds like a good approach John. Nice work. Don't want to come accross as whacko environmentalists. That will not do much good. Nice work. This is not about the environment. This is about the lack of tolerance for all thing's wild. This is about total disrespect for another's property. This is abo...

Well the way I see it, people tend to gravitate toward the stripping. I know John, mentioned it cause it's easy for people to work with. Perhaps, I did not provide good enough instruction's on how to make my aluminum guard's, as it's quite simple. If you can read a tape measure, you can make the gua...
