Been porch watching my martins feast on them in southern Ohio. They also decimated my carpenter bees
. I’ve seen them fly as low as about 10 feet off the ground snatching them.

A couple of weeks ago I drilled a starling sitting on the ridge of my roof…. At 50+ yards with my Diana pellet gun… used my John Deere Gator door as a rest. Those suckers are so wary…. I guess it figured I couldn’t make that shot LOL.

Help with I.D. - New Arrivals
It’s my first year for housing, and I’ve had a pair of adults for a couple weeks now. These two (I assume sub-adults by their appearance ) showed up yesterday. I’m sure this gets asked 1000 times but can anyone help with identification on these? I’m really hoping it’s a male/female pair……. IMG_0546....
