I have seen on other websites that they do eat them...I would think they would be a belly full. Doesn't take many of these to make a dozen, as my Dad used to say, lol.

Yes, was a slow start but I have 3 pair and a bachelor ASY which have been here for about 2 weeks. Several other visitors...hoping ugly guy will find a mate. Lol. I have seen several fly-downs to ground but no serious nest building yet. Best to all.. :)

Thanx, Tammy and Kathy. I did have a tree swallow onslaught the first few days but another quick pole with 2 gourds made them a home. I also have 2 gourds on a rack below the house. Actually, it wasn't until these gourds went up that I had any visitors (for all that are trying for first pair). Looks...
