I recently bought a retro trio castle and I need a pole for it. Every photo I see of a castle system, the pole is bent. Seems like there's a serious problem with under sized poles vs weight. Since there are many castle owners here I was wondering if I have alternatives.

I agree! Buildings are OK, however trees are a different story...and of course I have trees. The solid, flat walls can't hide predators.

Just goes to show you how PMs can find housing anywhere. I bet they love to hear their vocalizations bounce off those metal walls.

Just caught 2 hosp this morning in separate traps. One was with bread as bait, the other with feathers from a pillow in a Havahart chipmunk trap. The little buggers think they're stealing from me.

I found an old couch pillow stuffed with more feathers than I could ever use. Or you can use strips of TP or shredded paper or (fill in garbage item here).
