Yesterday we had one pair that came by, then yesterday afternoon there was one male that arrived. Hopefully we will see more soon. It is so exciting to see them return.

Well all of our Martins are gone now, have been for the past 2 weeks. Sure do miss them. Can't wait to see them again next year. We will have the winter to work on our houses and do repairs.

Finally had 2 pair to return today. While I was outside about mid morning I could hear them but could not see them and they kept getting closer. Finally I saw them. They sat on the poles for a while, so hopefully they will be back .

Has anyone in or around the Kinston NC area seen any signs of Martins yet. Don't know if it is because of the weather or not but last year at this time we did have Martins. I mark the calendar every year when they start returning.
