funnel trap????

can anyone give me any width or opening dimensions for this type trap i want to make one and try to get rid of some sparrows thanks i am wondering is it the same idea as a lobster pot or eel trap??

Tweezer, I just built a V-trap and the entrance should be 2.5 to 2.75 inches wide. Good luck! Hope this helps.
