Martins have a biological push to reproduce. It's still the month of May. Maybe they will re-nest. Hope that we hear from some of your fellow Tennessee Volunteers.
Fledged over 3,000 martins in beautiful southern Indiana since 1996.
Started 2 colonies and mentored 3 colonies with total fledged >4,000 martins into the world.

Martin Colony History: First started in Gretna, La in 1969 with a small homemade house, have had martins ever since at 2 different homes in Texas

There definitely is a chance they some will renest, but for sure, all of them will not. Some will probably leave and go to the roost. The older the eggs, the less chance that they will renest. But the ones that nested late, most of them will probably renest.

We usually have one or two that renest, then they stay here until the babies fledge. However, on the late nests, only the female will usually spend the night, and sometimes she will leave before dark. A large number, about 20 or 30 will come back in the morning and cheer on the pairs that are still here. In the mornings, the female will resume feeding. I am surprised that even though its hotter, they do quite well on the late nests if bugs are plentiful. If bugs are scarce, they may abandon the late nests.

Look at Steve Kroenkes post and last update. He has a huge colony that was destroyed this year by the weather and is going to have a very successful year this year. His PM's started renesting almost immediately.
