T-14 catch

This morning I checked my t-14 insert trap and found not 1 but 2 starlings inside!
Ten days ago I had the same thing happen, so what's going on here are the starlings cloning

The last two years I have had starlings get into crescent openings (on in my Musselman house converted to 6 2-room compartments and into one gourd). The martins were certainly NOT going into those houses now, so I waited for them to lay eggs and then I took some of that gooey, sticky rat trap paper and cut it into squares (about 1/2-3/4 inch) and lined the nest. The female WILL have to go in because of her eggs. I got her both times as she was then unable to get out of the entrance hole. The male took off in both cases and was never seen again. I don't know if this answers your question, but this method has definitely worked for me, before any damage was done to my martins. I couldn't believe these starlings had managed to get inside and in both cases I simply tried to remove the nests a few times, but they kept rebuilding. So, I did some creative thinking. It worked!

just a reminder;;;;everbody may already know as it has been posted on here a lot but the best way too keep starlings out of a trio house is by adding a small porch at the bottom of cresent;;;jr2
