Very interesting article. My guess would be, if purple martin flew into the path, they would be affected. Very sad to hear and see this. It really needs to be regulated!!

That is awful! Sounds like it has killed many birds already and if something isn't done many will be killed in the future. Sounds like it would affect martins if they go into that area.
