I need to make a predator guard for a square pole. I made the pole from the Andy Troyer T-14 specs, so it's basically two 2X6 boards with a 1X6 sandwiched in between. The instructions have a photo of a predator guard attached to the bottom of the house, but I'd prefer to mount one about eye level and one that would bevel. Has anyone done this?

I don't know of any commercially made baffles for a pole that size. So you are going to have to fabricate something or have someone do it for you. I have T 14's and I use 12 inch PVC pipe as it is big enough to go around pole and the winch and cable. These are the cheapest easiest way I found and have been using them for years with no breaches. The are big enough around that racoons and other climbing predators cant get up them. If you know somebody that is good with metal they could make something similar to the ones that come on the AAA gourd rack. If you google AAA gourd rack predator gourd you should find them. There are braces that mount to your pole and then the guard wraps around and hangs on.
Here is a thread showing the large PCV guards I use.
