For the past three days the sky opened up with 4 ASY males.......they are checking out my gourds & modified T14. Moving in and out. So now I see 6 with one lone female. The female & male stay the night only...the rest come in the mid morning.

Sometimes it takes a few days before the new birds will stay the night. Sounds like you are on your way!

Good stuff, if the new asy males decide to stay they shouldn't have any trouble finding a mate when the sy females make it back if they don't already have one by then.

In answer to what I did....
1) I cut a few tress down opened up the area
2) I followed Drews step by step on interference with the Tree Swallows...it worked!
3) I purchased horizontal troyer gourds......they love them
4) I remodeled by T14 to a T10 ...larger compartments & tunnel entrances. Staggered entrances
5) Pre-nested
6) Played the Dawn Song (I did this before but this time I places is closer)
&) Prayed

It's gratifying to hear that you have listened to those that were trying to help you. I am waiting for my first birds of the year, should be here any day now.

Congrats ......The most important thing you did was open the place up and cut a few trees down....It is by far the thing most landlords just dont quite understand. The other is getting the tree swallows under control ...both those items are so important .
