I was checking up on some of my posts when I read about Jose. Sounds fantastic. That is interesting in keeping him until next season. I wonder if they have an area he can fly around in or he will have to wait till next season to learn to fly. I know the rehabber in Houston told me that for all injured or orphan Martins and raptors, birds that primarily catch their food on the wing are trained while on the rehabbers site to fetch food. Pretty neat.
Keep us posted. Very interesting.
I'm a "nestcamaholic" Is 18 hours a day a bad thing? (I have 2 this year, luckily I have 2 eyes!)
