Severe storms

Well
Real bad weather came through here high winds rain etc
Both my Martin rigs blew down bent poles at the base.
Luckily no martins were in at the time no nesting started here yet but a few of the gourds were damaged
I was able to put up the tri telescope pole minus the bottom pole and my other round cable winch system is temporarily up half way in a new hole until I get another base pole section to cement in.
This year is my third year hosting martins and zero issues before this
First starlings getting in and now this.

Well crap! The storms just missed us as they moved across PA. Sorry you had damage. Good to hear no martin were injured or eggs lost. The martin swon't really mind if they aren't as tall.
Did you have them lowered before the storms hit? I try to, but can't always. I hope you can get everything back up & working OK. I'd opt for updating your poles if possible. I went from the tri-tel poles to the 3 inch square poles/winches. I still lower them half way during high winds & storms.

Many seem to be having starling problems this year that never did before.
