I froze mine for about 30 min so they were very groggy. the martins liked the martins liked the bigger ones the best. Next time I will need to thaw them and let them warm up

keep flinging them with a plastic spoon, straight up high over there heads. I tried it today for the first time and just kept flinging them one at a time for an hour and then they figured it out. It was very cool.

You must watch that compartment like a hawk, until you see who or what is using it. Hide while your watching because a sparrow will not come back as long as you are still in the yard.
