Martins in Trophy Club Texas

Around 4:30 pm today we heard the Martins soaring above our yard. We watched for around 30 minutes. Then they flew into the houses like they had been there before. Hoping for a season like last year.

Tom I was out of town for a couple of weeks and had my neighbors watch out for my Martins return. They said they were around my houses on the 16th of the month. This morning I went out side and saw an adult male and female sitting on the house. I guess they are here. Glad to hear that you had some c...

Hi Tom

Your set up looks great. Last year Martins showed up at my place in Trophy Club around March 12. Since this is my second year should I expect them to arrive earlier. Hope we both have great seasons.

I have about 12 eggs in my 2 houses that have not hatched. I would like to put down some sevin dust. Can you put it over the eggs or do you move the eggs or just spread it around the nest. I would like to avoid the mites if possible.

Thanks for any advice you guys have.

First time luck

This year was my first time to put up a martin house. After reading from many sources my hopes of getting any martins was not very high. To my surprise around the middle of March they started to show up. By the end of the month I had so many I went out and got another house. On the advise of my frie...
