Around 4:30 pm today we heard the Martins soaring above our yard. We watched for around 30 minutes. Then they flew into the houses like they had been there before. Hoping for a season like last year.

Fred, were your martins earlier than last year, same time or later??? Inquiring minds want to know... Maybe hearing other's martins are early will bring ours sooner as well! Can you tell I'm anxious??? Haven't seen even one flyover yet, altho they are all around us on the map.
