Keep the chin up, I know it's hard to see them fly away. This is my 11th year and I finally got martins to stay.A ASY male arrived on may 26th and two SY females the next day. This year is my first with a pair of martins. The last two years I had a SY male hang around for three weeks. I live three miles from pokegama lake colony, so I lucked out and got one of his ASY males and he found a SY female.

Just keep trying. I have been trying for 10 years, and the last 2 years had a SY male show up for 3 weeks then go after not finding a female. This spring we chopped down a large cotton wood tree to open up the yard more. Keep up the faith
