After a disappointing day yesterday with the rain & overcast conditions, I seen one return this morning. He didn't stay long, just stuck his head in several compartments then left. Maybe I need to take my wife's advice and be patient. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good sparrow trap. I have seen some that are mounted on a pvc pipe. Right now I use a BB gun.

The sparrow door for trio houses works out very good. If you don't have a trio house it could be installed in a wooden box using a coat hanger for the hinge rod, I have my box on top of a 10 ft post and does a pretty good job.

...and if you want a compartment trap for your housing, the universal trap (of which I use two) works very well. I also use the repeating bait trap sold "elsewhere" than the PMCA; it is excellent.
