for the first time today I spotted an ASY male that had a bald spot about the size of a nickel where all his head feathers had been pecked/pulled out it appeared. This has really got me puzzled as to whether a starling did this, or what?? I have seen my PM's fight many times over the years, but not this many head feathers missing......any ideas???

Chickadee....I haven't seen the other post. I have had some starling problems recently and wonder if his missing feathers is due to a starling attack? THis ASY male also seems to fly slower than the other PM's as if he had head trauma...
