EGGS!!!

I just did a nest check, and I found 5 eggs!!!!! Just 3 days ago, there was the green leaf.
Now I know I won't sleep any more!

(uhhh..........how long till they hatch ??)

I am soooo excited, after only 3 years trying!

I'm in Whitney about 200 miles North of you and I'm watching 3 nest but only 1 with eggs (5). I'm in my second year of trying first year with birds. Good luck will be watching your post for updates.

I'm new too! This is my first year and I have 3 pairs and 10 eggs.
From everything I've read it is about 15 days after the last egg is laid to the day they start hatching.

I can't wait to see them learn to fly.

After I made the post, I did more research and found the answer. Guess I should have done that first . I am guessing hatching should begin between the 21st and 23rd. There were 5 eggs yesterday, no nest check today, so I think I will check tomorrow. If there are 6-7 eggs, then she should be done from all I have read.
