The numbers started dwindling down pretty fast following the fledging of this years crop.
It got down to around 10 here about a week ago and yesterday it was down to 2 and today I saw 1 very briefly.
This is the earliest ever. Last year was the latest ever so I guess it evens out...lol.
Had a good year though even with doing away with an old 12 gourd rack.
I usually have quite a few vistors off and on when they start heading back south from up north. These birds sure talk funny....
The kids give me money for fathers day so I could buy a new system and I have been doing me some window shopping like back when I was a kid at the 5 & dime......

Ahhhh James, our northern martins talk properly...it's your southern martins with the strong sooouuuuuthhhhern twang that can be confusing and quite difficult to understand. ha ha.
I'm so glad you had a great season. My season up north has not even started yet. What type of housing do you plan on buying with the money your kids gave you?
