Hi Rhinewalt,
If your weather is good for insect feeding, the martins probably won't take any food from you.

If the weather is bad, then you will need to first train your martins to take food that you have flipped for them, before they will take the food from the feeders.

So, questions for you:
1. How has your weather been? Cold & rainy? Cold only? Temperatures? How long?

2. How do your martins look if the weather has been bad?

3. Have you tried flipping meal worms / crickets for them?

Weather has been warm wet and windy. Martins seem to be in good shape and active have not tried to flip mealworms or crickets. Want to thank everyone for the good information on this FORUM.
