Such a cold, rainy day! No sign of any martins, but tomorrow is supposed to be warmer. Will spend a good part of the time with the Dawn -Song, hoping to attract the martins. Now that I know some are in the close area will do my best. I talked to neighbors in the area and got the report they do not have near the number that usually come by this time of year. The weather pattern may have had a big impact on the migration and time schedule.

I am fairly new to this and had my 1st pair last year and lost all 3 babies due to heat and natural gourd being to small. This year i changed to super gourds and a pvc rack. Point being dont give up. Look at my profile pic. I have overhaning trees and a couple of fly ways. I live 60 miles from the coast in al and just in the last couple of days have had a new pair start building a new nest. So even down here they are still coming in.

Delma, looking at your profile I see you have 2 trio houses, that's good but do you have any gourds? If not I would get some out there. White gourds along with your other housing should make your site stand out.
