Finally back in North Kansas City
I had 2 asy males and 3 asy females here this morning. Still have some snow on the ground in the shady spots but it is a nice day. A little worried about Monday and Tuesday as it is suppose to get pretty cold with a high in the 30's. I wouldn't be real worried but I will be out of town, maybe things will change by then and it will be warmer, at least I am hoping so.
Hey there, Art! I'm glad to hear your birds made it home to you. Mine also showed up today in Leavenworth County--two males and a female. I'm a little worried about the weather, too, but I read that Monday and Tuesday are the only really bad days. After that it looks much better. Tuesday is supposed to be sunny so maybe it'll get closer to 50 than what they're thinking now. I'm glad they're getting the next several days to eat. It's gorgeous out there, and I'm seeing a lot of bugs flying.
Best of luck to you this season!
Best of luck to you this season!
Candace
I am glad to hear that Candace. I hope you have a great season also, and may the weatherman be wrong for a change and it stays warm. I have already seen more martins hear this afternoon so maybe they will all stay together and keep warm if the weatherman is right.
