Would a HOSP have any trouble fitting through a 1 1/2 inch round hole? Could a Martin? Thanks.
2000: 5 Pair
2001-20011: Moved. Too many trees. No Martins.
2012: Moved again. Starting over with 1 pair.

HOSP will easily fit through but martin's should not.

A 1-1/2 inch entrance hole is the correct size for bluebirds and tree swallows, too. Wrens and chickadees could use it as well, and of course - house sparrows!
