What a great gift you will remember for ever and so will she.
My little grand doughter ( 5 YRS ) carved me a martin out of a purple bar of soap last spring and said I couldn't use it untill I got martins , and wouldn't you know it, I got one pair last year. I am still enjoying the smell of the soap . HOW SWEET IT IS .

Oh Chuck! That is AWESOME! What a wonderful, personal expression of love and admiration! Please DO encourage your daughter to pursue her art talent! (Wish I had followed my heart and done art instead of nursing)... Hope you are smiling a big grin this fathers day!

- Martin Colony History: Start 2009 with one pair. Upgraded from S&K houses to two Trendsetter 12's with gourds beneath in 2013. I have experienced job, pet, and parental losses since '13. The Purple Martins lift my spirits and remind me how life continues forward by flying their little selves from Brazil back to my yard. As one forum person once told me, chin up DebA, look at the martins. Danger all around but yet they soar in the sky without a care in the world.
So glad you shared! Tell her what a nice job she did. Special Father's Day gift for a proud pop!

Mary - God works in mysterious ways - while your potential talent as an artist may have been a gift to the world, your daily "ART" of nursing has likely brought an immeasurable amount of joy and comfort to hundreds and thousands! I know I speak for many when I say thankyou and we are certainly glad that for whatever reason you chose nursingMamaBruff wrote:Oh Chuck! That is AWESOME! Love all things flying - except sparrows and starlings!
Chuck; Isn't it amazing about our Daughters, some times Stinkers and you wonder (what) then something like this happens and your Heart just jumps. You are right God doe's work in wonderful ways. As for MamaBruff; your Nursing is Heralded as much as the Gi's. Thanks for your service.
