Some of you may remember a few posts of mine last year as I helped to start a PM colony project at an elementary school in Lawrence, KS. The kids learned about martins and were excited about the project, however we were disappointed that we failed to attract any nesting pairs.
Since starting our project last year Lawrence past a bond to renovated a number if schools, including our school. The remodel/renovations will be extensive and I found out recently that we will have to put our project on hold for this spring.
Good luck to everybody this year and we'll look forward to trying again in 2015.

2000: 5 Pair
2001-20011: Moved. Too many trees. No Martins.
2012: Moved again. Starting over with 1 pair.

Rehomed all my PM stuff. Good Luck and Best Wishes to All.

 That's too bad. Many of us here, myself included were influenced as children regarding interest in and respect for the natural world... Maybe next year?
