Better late than never I guess - 2013 totals

The 2013 season here in central Ohio wasn't the greatest - cool weather, lot's of rain, etc.

I must have wanted to put it out of my mind - I realized today when I pulled out my MartinWatch data sheets, that I had not finalized and totalled out the 2013 form.

Well, better late than never, so I spent the morning re-writing and finalizing my 2013 data.

2013 Totals - 37 Pair, 179 Eggs, 142 hatched, and 139 fledged. I was up in total number of pairs - but for the first time had 4 complete nest failures, so an overall pretty flat year.

The egg to hatch ratio was down, but once they hatched, my fledge rate was very good.

Here's hoping everyone has a great 2014 season - I'm still searching the sky's for my first arrival for 2014.

I'm off to the post-office to mail this thing - better late than never I guess.
