Last Four Babies doing Well!

Did a nest check earlier this week. The last four baby Martins of our second pair are doing well. Daddy and Mommy are doing a fantastic job caring for their young. The other three baby Martins from our first pair of have already fledged. I put the babies in a bucket while I checked the nest. In one of the photos Momma cleans out baby potty from the nest. The parents are very understanding when I do a nest check. Have a good weekend everyone!

I noticed one of the babies is notably darker than the other three.
I'll bet that's going to be a gorgeous subadult and adult.

Next year, me to. I am already planing a new house and making changes on holes, cause my Martins having problems with the crecents.

Only problem is my wife is upset with me! She loves her dragonflies that live around our koi pond! Oops! Did I forget to mention that's their favorite meal?
