Hello from Manitoba, Canada
Our final fledges here were Aug 28, and Aug 29. This is certainly a record for us here in southern Manitoba. Many birds are flying, circling, "flight training" here today. I'm sure we are collecting birds from Alberta, Sask. as well as Manitoba and sending them south to you all soon. Fortunately weather good, warm and dry. Been a pretty good year, 133 fledges I think, less than other years, but a lot more than we thought we would have after the awful spring, and very late arrivals. I'm kind of weepy…..

Sad time of the year when they head back. Good to hear you had a decent year in Manitoba.

2012 66 pair, 2013 65 pair, 2014, 59 pair, 2015 67 pair
2016 78 pair, 108 nest cavities
One nest to go anytime. Lots of young visitors everyday around 2:00 PM. ASY birds last seen about 10 days ago. Latest ever season. Terrible year for the PM's and my pairs were down, but number fledged was better than normal.
