Martin Colony History: 2017 Had a lot visitors no Matins nesting, hoping 2018 will be different.
2018 Had 1 pair
2019 had 30 pair

   Well I had 2 Sy'S Females showed up yesterday and one sleep on the porch and of course the other went and sleep somewhere else. They returned this morning. I am sure the numbers will increase. I am up to over 30 birds now and I never dreamed I would have this many Martins here. It is just a great feeling to see that many flying and singing. Some have started trying to build a nest, but really have not gotten into the swing as of yet. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

That's great news James. Have you done a nest check yet? As of Wednesday I had 6 eggs I'm sure I have more today. I'm at about 40 birds and increasing every day. Any dawn singing in the mornings yet?

Thats wonderful news James! Glad to hear things are picking up! The more successful our landlords are the better chance for people like me to acquire Martins. Keep up the good work!

Andrew, the best advice I can give is play the Dawn song every day starting about 4-30 and be patsiant. They will come. Can you post pictures of your site.
