Thanks Louise for letting me tell my History leading up to my successful Purple Martin Colony in the Purple Martin update. I had several people call and tell me they loved the article. Some even wanted me to sign their book.LOL! I may quit my day job and start writing.LOL! If I did I would need Louise to proof read and make a lot of corrections. Thanks again Louise for letting me tell my story. Still no Martins here yet but it was 23 here this morning so we don't need any. I got my update Sat. and Sunday was my birthday ( March 22 ) so it came at a good time. My lucky Number has always been 8 and that's where my Article started page Eight. This may be my lucky year. Dave, we're glad that you liked the finished product, and we are so glad you provided your story, which should encourage anyone who is thinking of giving up to HANG IN THERE!

Extra copies going out in today's mail to all contributors, so you'll have some to share. And we're looking forward to hearing of your first arrival this season.

Louise this is the electric pole that the Red Barn Martin house was on. It is still in the back yard with the old Bat house. It usually has 3 to 4 bats hanging in the 3 chambers in the summer time. I took this at lunch today so you could see the story was true.LOL! Dave
