% wise I didn't do near as good as last year but my pairs were up and bird count up. I had 47 pair. 173 eggs. Fledged 154. Had 9 eggs didn't hatch and removed 10 dead birds in the cold wet weather we had early. Good Year with the weather but not a great year. I had two gourds with one egg each that were not sit on but was told to count them as a pair too. Other wise I would have had 45 pair. Love my Birds. Already looking for ways to improve next year. Hope everyone enjoyed their birds this year. Bluetick Dave.

Dave, I think those are pretty good results, especially considering all the rain & cold! Your birds did well :-)

How do u keep such accurate records? When I do a nest check I try to make it fast, it's dark inside and hard to really tell what's there! I'm so afraid of pissing off the Martins, then there's the dive bombing! Help!
