Those are good points, Dick - we've all seen them sit out in downpours, seeming to enjoy the rain and having a bath while perched. And by the way, the martins at the Tulsa roost could not have a better, more dedicated guardian angel - you are such a good guy!

I wonder if it could be more of a problem when temps fall during the rain - if the martins are getting soaked by a cold rain?
