Here are the results of our nest check today.
Multi-purpose Pole #1: 11 housing compartments and 4 gourds.
13 of 15 occupied, 34 eggs total, 21 babies hatched. 2 nest have 6 eggs each and 2 nest have 6 babies each. 1 compartment mom wouldn't leave so unknown amount of eggs.
This is my oldest set up.
Multi-purpose Pole #2: First year multi-purpose with one house that is 1 year old and other house and 4 gourds that are new this year. 20 total compartments between houses and gourds.
11 total nest with 10 nest with eggs or babies. Total 39 eggs and 5 babies.
Gourd Rack: 12 gourds, second year at new location.
5 gourds with nest, 24 eggs and 2 babies.
Grand Total: 97 eggs and 28 babies. Have a lot of 5 & 6 egg clutches hope the bugs are plentiful this year.
