Wichita Kansas 2019 roost???
anyone know where the martins are roosting this year? they seem to have moved around several times over the past few years. thanks, Rick

2005-2008 lookies
2009...lookies, and a SYM hanging around a bunch
2010...an ASY pair! 5 eggs, 5 babies fledged! yehawwwwwwwwww
2011....still only one nesting pair..extreme heat killed the babies
2012..ASY pair...fledged 4 babies!
2013 notta, few lookie lous

Hopefully by now you've found the roost at the Waterfront. It's been there all month and I was just there last week and surprised there were still a good amount of birds there. I saw alot of males. I know my nesters were laying late this year I think because the weather stayed cool and wet for so long which might account for the later roosting. Happy birding!
