Hello,
I am moving on Wednesday and need to get rid of my Purple Martin homes and pole/winch system. I built the T-14 myself according to Chuck's Martin Page plans. It's very nice, made from cedar and I painted it white. Has removable nest boxes too. I also designed a custom pole/winch system that I had a metal fabricator build. The winch raises/lowers the home on a carriage system. It has worked wonderfully over the years, and it is free to anyone who can come and get it. I live in Northeast Houston near Atascocita. Clock is ticking.
Thanks,
Jimmy

Are you moving to a purple martin friendly location? If I was thousands of miles away I would take them off your hands. I'm sure someone will snatch them up.

Jimmy,
I'm in Bryan college station at this moment and plan to head back to Plano on Monday. If you still have this unit it is highly possible I could drive there tomorrow and pick it up. It's a two hour drive and I could plan to arrive around or just before noon.
Let me know if you still have it and we can arrange from there if you can receive a guest on a Sunday.
Thank you,
Tom

2021......to be seen.
24 natural gourds on a satellite rack,9 other gourds scattered around
2-12 compartment trio houses
Rarely see a sparrow or starling, but when I do they don’t last long!
Will have a second satellite rack for the 2022 season and phase out the houses, the martins here strongly prefer natural gourds.
Hey there whippy! That would sure be a great find if y’all can get together. Let us know if that works out. Check out my new gourd rack picks, see what ya think.
Cool whip,
I still have the unit, and it’s yours if you make it this way tomorrow. Not sure how to DM on here, but can you send me your number. I’ll give you an address.
Thanks,
Jangles

Don't worry. I got her right where I want her.
I think if I went the route of PMDavid and the satellite dish I'd be looking for a roof to lie under. But the T-14 will go in the place of my Trio Wade which will find a new location.
I think I'll be ok.
I think.

Jangles,
I'm planning on leaving the ranch to head your direction no later than 10am tomorrow. If I don't leave before then I may not be able to make it at all.
I hope you are able to use this email: service at tempomaster dot com to contact me so I can give you my phone number. That e-mail is my business e-mail and it goes directly to my cell phone.
Hope to see you soon.
Thank you,

Hey whippy, good luck on your trip today. Send us some pics of your lucky find as you can ,I’d be interested in seeing it! I guess I’m the lucky one..the wife likes the satellite rack better than the wooden rack I had. She has in fact encouraged me to look into the 11’ one I have located and use it in place of the two houses I have still up. That would also reduce me from four poles to just two. I think I’m gonna pursue it. These birds here really like the gourds better than the houses and it’s easy to consolidate a number of gourds onto one structure. I hope it’s aluminum like the other one I’ve got,or the search will continue for one that is. Best of luck with your find!

I made it down to see Jangles yesterday. He is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He really loves to be a Martin Landlord and to be honest, it broke my heart to have left with his T-14. No matter how he explained the situation, I could see how much he is going to miss his Martins.
I will say that I have never seen construction of this magnitude. Jangles applied so much attention to detail with his T-14 that it just blew me away. I am proud to be the one to have received this T-14 masterpiece.
With the Jangles T-14, my gourd rack additions planned for this year, and the Trio Wade I will have a total of 44 cavities for rent.
You guys and gals know how much I like pictures so as I begin the installation process I will be sure to post them.
Thank you very much Jangles. It was a pleasure meeting you. Thomas and I will take very good care of your T-14.

Coolwhips,
I appreciate you, brother. Took 2 minutes talking to you to see you'll take as good or care of the Purple Martins as the wife and I did. She's in good hands!
Best of luck. Hope it's loud as hell when all those Martins are singing!

Thank you Jangles for the kind words.
I went from 4 pair to 15 pair last year. If the trend continues, it will be very loud here. I believe your T-14 will enhance the opportunity for that to happen. I will be sure to post updates as the year progresses.
I thought I was going to have the T-14 up by the end of this week but my schedule changed a bit. I hope to get some work done in that direction this weekend.
Stay tuned.
