I need some advice, I just started my current colony last year with 2 pairs and 2 sy males that hung around all summer. I have a 8 room house and am looking for a way to add a few gourds below. Do any of y’all have experience with this add a rack thing? It looks like it is what I need by just securing a bracket on the telescoping pole below the existing house to add 3 gourds. Ive tried to upload a photo of it but it won’t let me. Also if y’all do have experience with it, what type of gourds will fit the hangers it comes with? Thanks for the advice.

There are Troyer Horizontal Gourd hanger devices available that can be bolted on to the underside of metal houses. Or you can make your own, just be sure to have enough space for the gourd to clear the underside of the housing. Google images for gourd mounting arms for examples.

2021:
Just a quick update, I went went the create a rack gourd rack to attach to the pole under my housing. I ordered 3 crescent hole supergourds with porches to put on the rack. Excited to get it up and hopefully all 3 will be occupied this season!
