I have recently ordered 2 of the K-series 24 Unit Gourd Racks. I noticed on one of your previous posts
that you modified 5 K-Series 24 Racks to 20 gourds. Wondering why you might have done so?
Second question. Believe I recall that you've never had to do supplemental feeding at your location.
The forecast for the Southern United States looks terrible for the Martin's. Would think you'd have
a good number of Martins at this time. Do you have major concerns?

2021:

I’m looking forward to answers to this as well, haven’t heard anything from Mr Steve this year yet and I’m starting to worry about him! Before I joined the forum I always paid special attention to what he had to say because in my opinion that he is a very informative person about martins.

Steve K
What percent of your Martins had arrived before the bad weather?
Did you experience losses? If so, to what extent?

Martin Colony History: The 1972 St. Agnes flood wiped out all the Martins in my area. One day, in 1997-98, 5 or 6 Martins landed on the power wires crossing my back yard. I had no house for them. They kept coming back day after day. We got a martin house a few weeks later & they have been coming back every year since. I average 12-15 pair per year.

Steve posts on the PMCA FB page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Prognesubis/

He posted that he & his neighbor Bob lost all their early arrivals. I think it was around 30 total. Haven't seen a post from him since.
