In the last 5 years I’ve never had pms come in like they are now. I had 1 pm come in 3-11 and left, then I had 3 come in 3-16 and left, had 1 this morning 3-19. That’s the only ones I’ve seen as usually they don’t leave like that or they stick around a little bit lol. I looked over my records from the years before and there’s always been 15 or 20 here by this time and they always stick around. Something strange . Anyone else seeing this? I’m sure everything will be ok, just not normal for me. The last 2 years I had 4 empty cavities out of 62.

I blame the weather. That blast of freezing weather we had killed most of my birds (the ones I found), and probably the ones I didn't find on the ground and in the houses probably died somewhere else. More birds are coming, and they should help fortify our numbers. This time last year, I had over 30 birds in my 3 houses. Today I only counted 8. Some days it is more, but I have 8 for sure that are staying through the night. The Martin population took a heavy hit, let's hope with our help, they can recover.

It is weird how some birds act at some colonies. At my old house, the 3 years I had martins there the ASY's would show up for a day or so and then I wouldn't see them at all for about three days then they would come back and get to nesting pretty quickly. As my current colony gets older they seem to stick around once they arrive.

Lol I don’t know why they have to play games with me, there was 12 here at dark so it’s all good . Now I’ll let them do there thing, I was worried. My little farm, there’s lots of hos and there hard to keep away from gourds and alamo house, every morning I get a few and the more pms the easier it is.
I haven’t been on here much in the last 2 years [at the lake fishing lol] but there was someone with around 300 plus cav. And always full, do you all know who that was? Just wondering if everything is going good and enjoyed seeing pictures of that. Thanks good luck to everyone
