Martin Colony History: 2005-2019. Lots lookers, 2 successful nesting's.
2010-1 pair nested, 4 eggs destroyed(Wren).
2012- 1 pair nested, 4 eggs, 4 fledged
2019- 1 pair nested, 4 eggs, 4 fledged.
2021- 10 pair, 40 babies fledged.
2022- 17 pair, 10 eggs not hatched= appxy. 57 fledged.

1 Adult Male Martin flew in last night.
He is checking out gourds this AM. Temp. to be
T=58-60*. Sunny. Weather patterns are crazy.
Love hearing his singing. Am sure more Martin's will be here in a few days. A Happy Day.

We have 3 Martin's today. 2 neighbors also have their Martin's Returning.
The 70* Temps. are bringing the Martin's in.
We expect more this week.

The Hoosier state is filling up with ASY's. I was out of town on a vacation last week and we got home Saturday night. When I got up first thing Sunday morning I assumed I would have some, as the end of March has been my arrival time the last few years. I woke up to 6 ASY's, I counted 7 this morning.

Great news Flyinlowe! April is such a wonderful month for us in these areas of the mid-atlantic/northeast....struggle through March and waalaa....
