I took down and cleaned 50 of my gourds today, getting ready to store them. I will put a bit of spray sevin in them and hang them in my garage. I cleaned them in Clorox water, brushed them off as good as I could get them, and then rinsed them off.
I will touch-up and paint them during the winter months, and make any needed repairs. It has been so dry here, they did not deterioate in the weather this summer, they look real good, ready to be used again.
I have 5 pair left.

Excellent. So glad we have folks like you to help keep the PMs safe, happy and successful. Congrats on a great year. I saw those birds by the light in the Houston roost photos. Glad you were able to point them out.
Thanks for all your advice this year. You and all the pros are so helpful to all us "Newbies." sue
