I think this is the 4th nest change since Monday. No blow flies or anything else today.
Had 40-50 blowflies on Mon & wed, one on thursday, and none today. Yesterday I sprayed the pine needles with liquid seven diluted 4 Tablespoons to a gallan (per Victor Stoll) and nest box tray. Put a little seven under nest box tray. No bugs today. yeah!!!!!
I can see why Mary W jumped in her swimming pool with all her clothes on and shoes too after those nest changes.
After one of them I didn't immediately take a shower. I thought I was just imagining feeling things crawling in my hair. Until the back of my neck had bites and a flea jumped on me.
well....those babies looked real cute today though.
