A couple morning pic's....

Everyone post a picture of your setup!!
Here's a pic of mine. Forgive the smudge on the lens of the camera. I have heard that Martins don't like tunnels or porches, but mine apparently don't know that.
All my gourds have tunnels with porched WDC entrances. I had three pair at this site two years ago on the one rack on the right side of the picture. I added the second rack last year and had 34 pair. I now have 70 gourds on the three racks and expect all of them will be full this season. It's hard to tell until egg laying starts, but I think I have close to 50 pair here already. I have 2 more racks with 32 gourds down at the barn. They are all full.

High quality plastic gourds with porched, tunnelled SREH are Martin magnets.

Sometimes the cows come up and ask me, "Howdy Mooo! Do those birds eat horse flies and deer flies?" I delight in telling that yes as a matter of fact they do.

Offering 60 cavities this year. This pic was taken in March just after the new goud rack was assembled.

Everything looks better today. The grass is green and the Martins are back. Counted 11 ASY males and 8 ASY females this evening. Haven't seen an SY here yet.

With all the new housing, my Martins still go to the old S&K house that got me started. Double-gourds also fill up.

These are the Johnson martins. This is our third year. We have added a pole with housing each year. Also I have attached a picture of the two gourds that are hanging from the open shed that have a pair. We love to listen and watch their antics.

My racks are in our front yard. This is looking from the side, east to west. The trees in the distance are much farther than they appear - several hundred feet. We do have one rack in the back that supports 16 gourds.

Thank you Julio. Glad you like them. Yes they are somewhat heavy. This off season I am going to build 2 T-14 house's and put them on a winch system.
