Got home from church this afternoon to the sight of an ASY female flying around the housing! She was really making noise - she sounded happy to finally be home.

Marilyn,

Congratulations on your first martin back    I love that noise and chortle they make when they return and announce their being back home....It is so exciting and only another Purple Martin Landlord can understand that awesome feeling. Wishing you a great 2009 martin season.

Hey Marilyn!

Must have been a wave of birds in our area cause I had my first pair of the year show up today too!!! I don't remember ever seeing anything such a beautiful shade of purple...
Oh yeah, we live north of Springfield about 10 miles... I also noticed on the Scout Page that Rogersville and Fair Grove reported today as well. I just hope the weather holds out etc...

Oh happy days,

Bill & Kelley
