First time I seen this. Fledgling taking bath like bluebird? Again they are under the sprinkler as it comes around. couple are up real close to the nozzle getting drink off the main jet of water.

RC, that is amazing. Those poor martins are now hot and desperate. Thank goodness you are offering water for the others, and the martin was lucky to find it............

This is a good time to remind everyone to please offer water for your birds...........Songbirds really appreciate a birdbath, but if you do not have an *official* one, you can make one by offering a shallow container on the ground, elevated on bricks or concrete blocks, or at least run a sprinkler under a shrub or plant that also needs water.........The birds will reward you with their presence.

Linda,

I could not agree with you more, I have about five birdbaths around here and the birds love them and need them so desperately especially this time of year. It is inexpensive and you will be rewarded with all types of birds that love to bathe and drink. Happy 4th to all.
