If you ever had to remove natural gourds from the bathtub to take a bath, you might be a purpleneck.

If you have ever taken a shower with natural gourds, you might be a purpleneck.

If you have more natural gourds hanging from your living room ceiling than paintings on the wall, you might be a purpleneck.

If your idea of a food fight involves crickets and mealworms, you might be a purpleneck.

If you have ever laid your T-14 on it's side and used it for a coffee table, you might be a purpleneck.

If you have more natural gourd on the kitchen countertop than dishes, you might be a purpleneck

If you have taken over the spare bedroom to raise mealworms, you might be a purpleneck.

If your other half has ever yelled at you for painting gourds in the kitchen with out a drop cloth, you might be a purpleneck.

If you have a turkey blind used just for shooting starling, you might be a purpleneck.

Im not a redneck, but I am a purpleneck and proud of it........

hee, these are great, made me laugh out loud and scare the dogs.
and by the way, if your office floor is cluttered with martin nest trays you are working on, you might be a purpleneck

This is so clever and funny, Wendell. Thanks for a much-needed touch of levity, and sharing your wonderful sense of humor.

I can relate to all except the T-14 coffee table.

Purpleneck, I am, and proud of it..........

If your neighbours stop by and say, "Boy the birds are loud in your yard!" (and you didn't tell them the Dawn Call was blasting from your speakers, he he), you might be a purpleneck.

Hi Wendell,
I'm guilty of many on your list. Nice to see another Iowan on the website.
