Banded pair

I have a mated pair of Canadian geese at my pond, both with bands! How often does that happen? Been trying to read the numbers with a spotting scope and this morning finally read one complete set. I have only five numbers on the other one, wish he would cooperate and turn when I want plus the band is upside down.

I saw a banded goose while reading bands on Trumpeter Swans, it was a 6 year old bird and was banded just a few miles downstream from where I saw it.
