This morning was the first one in the past four months that I awoke to silence outside our window
.... so now, I have a question. For those in the NW Dallas, TX area - where are the roosts? There used to be one in Lewisville, but I do not know if it is still there because of a loss of green belt areas.
Roslyn,
The Lewisville Roost happens every year and i am sure it will this year i'm just not sure of the date???,if you email me i will give you a website of the Texas PM landlord's , they will list the Local roost's.

Wishing everyone a Great Martin Year
Happy Martining for 2022 to everyone,
The one in Lewisville is actually in the parking lot of a supermarket so I don't think the green belt loss will effect it. It's the most amazing thing to see--- It felt like a "biblical" event. I had never seen anything so amazing in my life. Check the PM landlords of North Texas for optimum viewing dates.
I've been watching the NOAA NexRad the past couple of days and the Lewisville roost is looming large. There are 2 more similar blips showing up at the same time in the am...one to the SW of Arlington and another NE of I-635/I-30 in the vicinity of Lake Ray Hubbard. I'll try and find out more details regarding location of the Lewisville roost very soon and will post.
